Eligibility Criteria for the MICAT exam
- To be eligible for the MICAT exam, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years’ duration or its equivalent from a UGC-recognized university.
- Final-year students and those awaiting results are also eligible.
- There is no maximum age limit for appearing in the MICAT. Candidates must be graduates from a recognised university. Final-year Bachelor’s degree students can appear for the MICAT.
- Only candidates who have taken the CAT 2024, XAT 2025, or GMAT exams are eligible to apply for and take the MICAT for admission to MICA. All applicants meeting the MICA eligibility criteria for 2025 must register for and appear in the MICAT, as failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.

MIC Ahmedabad is the only MBA college in India that accepts the MICAT score, a specialised test conducted exclusively by MICA for admission to its programs. MICAT is a mandatory entrance test for MICA admission.
