What is the CEUT PG Exam?

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG – 2025) has been established for admission to various postgraduate programs in Central and State Universities/Institutions, as well as participating Deemed/Private Universities/Institutions for the 2025-26 academic session. CUET aims to offer a unified platform and equal opportunities for candidates nationwide, particularly benefiting those from rural and remote regions, thereby fostering a stronger connection with the universities. This single examination will allow candidates to access a broad range of participating universities and institutions as part of the admissions process.

CEUT PG 2025 Exam Fees

Candidates can only pay the application fee online. No other payment methods will be accepted. The fee can be paid using credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. Please note that the application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. The application fee for different categories is as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for the CEUT PG exam

For the CUET (PG) 2025 exam, there is no age limit for candidates. Individuals who have completed or are appearing for their bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can take the CUET (PG) 2025, regardless of age. However, candidates must meet the age criteria set by the university they wish to apply to.
Note:
  • Admission to universities through CUET (PG) 2025 will follow the existing policies of the respective universities regarding quotas, categories, relaxations, reservations, qualifications, subject combinations, and preferences.
  • Each university may have unique eligibility criteria for admission. Candidates should visit the website of the university they are applying to for specific program requirements.
  • Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by the university they are applying to before applying.

CEUT PG 2025 Registration Process

To register for CUET 2024, applicants need to complete the application form online. Candidates should carefully fill out the form, which involves a few steps. Follow these steps to apply for CUET PG 2024:
Step 1: Registration
  1. Visit the official website and click on ‘Click here for New Registration’.
  2. Enter required details (name, email, date of birth, mobile number) and create a password.
  3. Note the system-generated Application Number for future reference.
  4. Confirm registration by entering the OTP sent to your mobile number.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form
  1. Log in using the Application Number and password.
  2.  Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and select the examination cities.
  3. Provide details about:
-PwBD category
-Reserved categories
-Parent’s qualification and occupation
-Annual family income
-Domicile state and place of residence
-Medium of study (Class 10, 12, Graduation)
-Other quotas (BPL, Kashmiri Migrant, Defence personnel, NCC, Sports, University employee ward)
Step 3: Upload Images
  1. Upload a recent photograph (10 kb to 200 kb) and signature (4 kb to 30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  2. Ensure the photograph has 80% face visibility and a white background.
Step 4: Select University & Course
  1. Choose up to three universities and their respective courses.
  2. Enter university codes and courses, then click ‘Save & Proceed’.
Step 5: Edit Application Form
  1. Review all details carefully.
  2. Edit if necessary or click ‘Submit & Make Payment’.
Step 6: Payment
  1. Click ‘Submit & Make Payment’.
  2. Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
Step 7: Confirm and Print Application Form
  1. After successful payment, a Confirmation Page will be generated.
  2. Download and print the Confirmation Page for future reference.

Documents required for CEUT PG Application

Before paying the CUET PG 2024 registration fee, ensure you upload the required documents as specified by the exam authority. Note that graduation or category certificates are not required to be uploaded. The documents needed are:
Required Documents:
  • Candidate’s Photograph: Recent, colour or black & white, with 80% face visible (without mask), including ears, against a white background. Size: 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Candidate’s Signature: Clear and legible. Size: 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format
Additional Documents to Keep Handy: :
  • Marksheets of Class 10, Class 12, and Graduation (for reference, not uploading)
  • Credit/Debit Card or Internet Banking details (for fee payment)
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Aadhar Card or other Identity Proof
  • Address Proof

CEUT PG 2025 Application Form Correction

The CUET PG 2024 application correction window allows candidates to rectify any errors in their application form.
Eligibility for Correction :
-Only candidates who have submitted their application form and paid the application fee can make corrections.
Steps to Correct Application Form:
  1. Visit the official CUET PG 2024 website
  2. Click on the “Sign In” tab or application form correction link.
  3. Login using your user ID and password.
  4. Make the necessary changes in the application form.
  5. Save the changes and print the updated form for future reference.
