What is the SET Exam?
The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an annual examination conducted by Symbiosis International University to select candidates for admission to its ten campuses across India.
It serves as a standard entrance test for various undergraduate and integrated courses in, Management, Economics, Computer Science, Mass Communication, Liberal Arts, and more.
This entrance exam is administered online across 80 cities in India, attracting a substantial number of candidates each year who aspire to secure a spot in one of SIU’s prestigious campuses.
The SET 2025 exam is a mandatory requirement for pursuing the diverse programmes offered by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) institutes.
SET 2025 Exam Fees
You can pay the application fee online or offline before the SET registration deadline. Choose from one of these four payment methods:

- Demand Draft (DD)
Online Payment
If you choose online payment, you can pay the SET application fees using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. You must also pay the program registration fee of Rs. 1000 (non-refundable and non-transferable) along with the SET registration fees.

Offline Payment
If you choose offline mode, pay the application fee using a Demand Draft (DD). Follow these steps for DD payment:
- Obtain a DD from any Nationalized Bank favoring “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
- Under the “make payment” tab, select “DD payment.”
Print the payment form, fill in the DD details, and send it along with the DD to the address below.
SET Exam Age Limit
According to the guidelines issued by the authorities, there is no upper age limit for applying to the Symbiosis Entrance Test. However, applicants must be at least 17 years old to qualify for the entrance exam.

SET 2025 Registration Process
Candidates eligible for the SET 2025 exam must register through the official website, as the registration process is entirely online, and no other methods are available. Upon registration, each candidate’s application number for SET 2025 will be generated.
The registration process can be completed using the simplified steps outlined below.
How to register for SET 2025?
- Begin with the SET registration process in 2025. Click “Apply Now” on the official website to open the registration form.
- If already registered, click “sign-in”; otherwise, click “register.”
- After clicking “register,” read all instructions carefully on the new page and click “I Agree.”
- Fill in the required details like name, date of birth, category, mobile number, email ID, etc., and upload a scanned photo and signature.
- Click “save & continue” after entering all details.
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email ID, then click “submit.”
- Upon successful registration, you will receive an email with your user ID and password.
- Click “save & continue” to proceed with your application.
- Finally, make the payment and click “submit.”
Upon registration, candidates will receive their SET 2025 application number via their registered email ID. This application number and the password created during registration will be used for all future SET 2025-related activities.

Applicants are advised to have the following documents prepared prior to completing the SET 2025 application form:
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- Date of birth certificate
- Photo ID proof
- Caste certificate (if applicable)

Eligibility Criteria for the SET exam

The SET eligibility criteria, as specified by the conducting body are as follows:
- The applicant must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board in the relevant stream.
- The applicant must have achieved a minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 (45% for reserved categories).
- Applicants awaiting Class 12 results may apply provisionally, provided they submit a passing certificate upon issuance.
- Applicants who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a foreign board must present an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SET Exam Pattern
